Skyboria Provisionally Selected for a €1.6M European Grant to Lead Clean Aviation at the Jerez Aeronautical Hub

We are thrilled to announce a major step forward in Skyboria's growth. In a preliminary resolution issued by the regional government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía) and backed by European Just Transition Funds (FTJ), Skyboria has been selected as a key candidate to drive the future of the Jerez Aeronautical Hub.
Out of the companies evaluated to reinforce the sustainable aviation ecosystem in southern Spain, Skyboria is the sole company provisionally awarded in the highly demanding 'Clean Aviation' and innovation category.
This €1.6 million preliminary grant allocation, targeted toward a €2 million total project investment, is designed to accelerate our research and development of innovative aerospace technologies. Our focus remains on minimizing environmental impact—reducing noise, CO2, and other emissions—while delivering cutting-edge autonomous aerial solutions for emergency response.
"Provisionally selected as the exclusive beneficiary in the 'clean aviation' innovation category, this €1.6M European funding initiative aims to accelerate Skyboria's expansion in Andalusia, fostering sustainable technologies and creating highly qualified local jobs."
Pending final approval and the completion of administrative procedures over the coming weeks, this strategic initiative will involve expanding our operational footprint to Jerez (Cádiz) and its surrounding areas. This expansion reinforces our commitment to sustainable, hybrid-propulsion UAVs and to contributing high-value technological jobs to the region over the next five years.
We are proud to be recognized as a leader in the transition toward a greener, safer, and more autonomous future in aviation, and we look forward to finalizing this strategic milestone.
